The man seen in these photos is well-known around Framingham, especially downtown — and not for good reasons. For years, he’s caused chaos for residents and businesses alike: breaking into cars and homes, stealing anything not nailed down, openly using drugs, and leaving a wake of damage and fear in his path. He’s no stranger to police, and no saint by any stretch.
But what happened Friday night at the Red Roof Inn was nothing short of horrifying.
Witnesses say he appeared heavily under the influence, staring blankly as if “looking through people.” Moments later, he reportedly flipped himself over the second-floor balcony and plummeted headfirst into the pavement below, landing between parked cars. The impact was brutal — face first onto asphalt and concrete. He was barely moving. A limited amount of blood pooled.
FU has redacted only the most graphic imagery of the victim, and the faces of the uninvolved onlookers who happened to be there when it unfolded.
Despite everything, bystanders stayed with him until EMTs arrived. One person who briefly spoke with him before the fall was even kicked out of the hotel the next morning — allegedly for “being involved,” which says a lot about Red Roof’s priorities. Hotel staff, for their part, reportedly didn’t even come outside until the chaos was winding down.
At FU, we’ve called out plenty of people. We don’t sugarcoat things. But we also don’t wish pain and suffering on anyone — not even him. We sincerely hope he survives and gets the help he clearly needs.
If you know more about his condition or what happened after, let us know. We’ll update if we hear anything.
